Morden Park Choral Society was founded in 1946. The Society is closely linked with St John's Church and we have enjoyed providing the music for special occasions in the church throughout the year. Rehearsals take place here in church on Monday evenings from 8 - 10 PM. There are vacancies in all parts. No previous experience is necessary and there is no audition; we are looking for people who are enthusiastic and willing to learn. You will be assured of a friendly welcome. The Society's activities are challenging, enjoyable and rewarding, with a programme of four concerts a year ranging from oratorio to songs from the shows and including operetta, carols and a variety of four-part song arrangements. In addition, the Society holds a variety of social events throughout the year.

The Society is most grateful to the Vicar and Churchwardens of St John the Divine Church for their kind hospitality and assistance. lf you would like to support the choir's activities, you may like to consider being an Associate Member. All you need to do is to fill in the slip (available from choir members or at the back of the church at one of our concerts) and hand it to any member of the choir. You will then be given information in advance about all the society's events, including socials.

We welcome new members at any time but especially as we begin a new season of delightful music and festive singing in rehearsal, performance, and social gatherings.
